At Grupo ALVIC, we are always looking for solutions that make life easier for professionals in interior design and furniture. That’s why we have developed TWIN, a next-generation worktop with a unique hybrid structure that combines the best of compact surfaces and particleboard.

A design created for daily operations

TWIN was born from listening to the people who know the sector best: manufacturers, distributors, and professionals who shared a common challenge: finding worktops that are easier to handle during cutting, transport, and installation, without compromising the strength and quality our surfaces are known for.

With this need in mind, ALVIC has created a solution that optimizes both durability and ease of handling, improving efficiency in the factory, logistics, and final installation.

How TWIN’s hybrid structure works

The TWIN worktop features three layers: compact surfaces on the top and bottom, and a water-resistant particleboard core. This configuration provides multiple advantages:

• Lighter weight: up to 35 % lighter than quartz or porcelain surfaces.
• Easy handling: simpler to cut, machine, and transport without specialized equipment.
• Stability and durability: maintains the solidity of traditional compact surfaces, even in long spans or critical areas.

Versatility and integrated design

TWIN is available in panels, bars, and custom solutions, with 19 double-sided designs. It supports multiple finishes and joins: straight edges, 45º miters, integrated sinks, or grooves, delivering a homogeneous and integrated design in every project.
