Grupo ALVIC has taken part in a meaningful solidarity initiative promoted by the Cofradía de la Misericordia, in collaboration with the Alcaudete Town Council and other local companies, with the aim of supporting the Asociación Daño Cerebral Jaén in the construction of its new day centre in the capital of the province.
As part of this project, a fully equipped kitchen has been donated, providing the centre with an essential space for the daily lives of its users. Grupo ALVIC contributed by donating the necessary materials for its installation, thus reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and support for causes that have a real and positive impact on people’s lives.
This solidarity gesture goes beyond the symbolic: it represents the spirit of a community coming together to build a better future and offer opportunities to those who need them most. A recently held event symbolically united soil from Alcaudete with soil from the plot where the new centre is being built, as a sign of unity, commitment and shared hope.
Acquired brain injury profoundly changes the lives of those affected and their families. Many people, once discharged from hospital, face a reality without the necessary resources for rehabilitation and care. That’s why, at Grupo ALVIC, we believe it is essential to build real, long-lasting and collective support.
We would like to thank the Cofradía de la Misericordia and the Alcaudete Town Council for their involvement and for promoting this type of initiative, which reminds us that solidarity is one of the hallmarks of our community.
