Madrid’s Teatro Magno hosted the second edition of the Architecture Madrid Awards (AMA 2025), an event that brought together leading figures from the worlds of architecture, design and interior design from Spain and around the world.

ALVIC: driving innovation and ephemeral architecture

During the evening, ALVIC had the honour of presenting the Special Award for Ephemeral Architecture, which was awarded to Borja Esteras, CEO of Arquitalia Studio, for his inspiring project Lobby to the Sky, designed for Aritco at Casa Decor 2025.

The award was presented by Ana González, Head of Contract and Specification at ALVIC, in recognition of a proposal that explores the connection between the earthly and the ethereal through the interplay of light, materials and verticality.

“Ephemeral architecture has that magic: it disappears… but leaves behind an emotion that lingers”, said Borja Esteras upon receiving the award, a statement that captures the essence of the emotional and sensory design embraced by today’s most visionary creators.

A commitment to design, innovation and collaboration

Through its participation in the AMA 2025, ALVIC reaffirms its commitment to innovation, sustainable design and supporting the professionals who transform spaces into unique experiences.

Thanks to its decorative surfaces and advanced materials, ALVIC continues to inspire architects and interior designers to create distinctive, functional and emotionally captivating environments.
