Grupo Alvic and the University of Granada promote the Celia Bujaldón – Alvic Chair of Cancer Research
Our company, Grupo Alvic and the University of Granada (UGR) have signed an agreement to create the Celia Bujladón-Alvic Chair in Cancer Research. The agreement, signed by the Director of Institutional Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility of Grupo Alvic, Manuel A. Pizarro Simancas, and the Rector of the UGR, Pedro Mercado Pacheco, has as its main objective to promote research and training in the field of cancer.
Alvic will provide the Chair with an annual amount of 20,000 euros, which will be used for the activities established in the agreement and for collaboration in teaching and dissemination projects. In addition, the Chair will develop joint activities that include the training of research staff, research and transfer of results in the field of cancer, and the dissemination of publications on related topics of interest.
